What's New at the NWAARC?

I ran into Carl Flynn, WB5ITV, this week and was unaware that he had  a heart attack that almost killed him.  He has had major heart surgery and is improving, but is still showing signs of the attack.  His vision has been damaged and he has to have someone with him at all times.  He has shortness of breath and just recently was able to walk again after some time in rehab.

For those that don't know, Carl operated the only 220 MHZ repeater in the area and the tower was located in Wheeler.  It was nice to talk to Carl and I hope he continues to get better as the days go on.

END OF HAMFEST CALENDAR

What's New This Month
We have added another page to the website. It is the ARRL and DX News page where we will post the latest information from the ARRL newsletters and DX predictions. This will allow for more information flow on the site.

Note: The Trader's Net has been taken off the air on Fridays for the time being. It may resurface at a later time on a different night. There are a lot of reasons for this, but mostly it has to do with family and family activities on Friday nights. When I can see my way clear to do it again, I will alert everyone I can. Thanks, Richard K5LRS
