The NWAARC
The NWAARC is an ARRL service club involved in local emergency communications, search and rescue, public event communications and sporting event communications in the NW Arkansas area. The club provides communications for the Chili Pepper Run, bicycle races, Iron Man competitons, and other events in NW Arkansas.

The NWAARC also fields storm spotters during the tornado season and helps with emergency communications after a storm has gone through a community.

The NWAARC operates during the ARRL Field Day and holds a hamfest each year in Springdale.

If you are not a member of the club, we encourage you to come to a meeting, meet you fellow ham radio operators, and join in the fun of the NWAARC.

History of the NWAARC
When I can obtain all the pertinent data, I will make a short but descriptive history of the NWAARC.
It has had some really great hams as members and a lot of things were done in the early days to make the club successful and the people behind that need to be mentioned and remembered.

Our Hams
The NWAARC wants to thank Chuck Barber, KJ5BJ, for the outstanding work he has done on upgrading and updating our repeater systems. Maintenance of the NWAARC repeaters is an important function and Chuck has worked tirelessly to get everything back on-line.

Thanks, Chuck!
